Castle Craig Chapter helped man the 10-10 International booth at the ARRL Centennial Convention in Hartford Connecticut July 17-19 2014

10-10 Summer QSO Party Results

The 10-10 Summer QSO party results were posted on the 10-10 web page today. I know that there were a couple that missed the cutoff date for logs and I guess that I am going to have to post reminders on when logs are dues so perhaps we can get a few more log in.
Here are the results for the first call area, clubs and chapters.
Thanks to those who submitted logs for the chapter. I think that this is probably our best showing in the standings. If we get a good band for the Winter QSO party, (which should be close to the top of the cycle), and a few more stations we might go second or third. (Am I reaching if I say first)... That's a tough one because of the large chapters with 10 or more entries.

2013 Ten-Ten International Convention coming to the Hartford Connecticut Area

The Castle Craig Chapter is pleased to announce that the 2013 Ten-Ten International Convention will be held at the Sheraton Bradley International Airport Hotel in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
(Airport code is BDL , also known as Hartford / Springfield, for those wanting to look up flights)
The dates of the convention are as follows:
Thursday, July 11, 2013 Board of Directors Meeting
Friday, July 12, 2013 Convention with Chapter Room
Saturday, July 13, 2013 Convention with Chapter Room and Saturday Evening Banquet
Sunday, July 14, 2013 Farewell Breakfast
The Castle Craig Chapter in Meriden, CT has been selected as the host chapter for the convention.
Since May, a committee of Castle Craig Chapter and Meriden Amateur Radio Club members has been working to make this happen.
We have secured a great location that is easy to get to, and close to popular Ham (ARRL) and non-Ham attractions.
The Sheraton Hotel is in Terminal A of Bradley International Airport and a 3 minute walk from any gate. More information will be forthcoming in he next few weeks and months.
Please reserve the second week in July 2013 to attend this event.
We hope to see everyone there!
